Social Functions/Networking Opportunities

NOGOF is not the usual oil and gas opppoturnity fair, we curated interesting social functions specially for our delegates, activities that will oster oppoturnities, collaborations and knowledge.

Welcome Barbecue

The Welcome Barbeque which takes place on the evening of the 3rd will be held on the beautiful, serene and opulent grounds of the Royal Tulip Castle Hotel, former Government House now turned one of Nigeria’s only 5* Star Resort Boutique Hotels. This is an evening specially designed for delegates and all participants to network and interact with each other in a relaxed and fun atmosphere. So, we urge our delegates to come and enjoy great music from our live band and DJ and excellent food, all packaged to ensure maximum networking and interaction with other industry colleagues, before we go into the serious business of Oil and Gas.

Gala Dinner/Awards Night

After the various Opportunity and Technical Sessions on the 4th guests are invited to the Gala Dinner & Awards Ceremony which will take place at the Golden Tulip Hotel Conference Hall. This evening will be filled with great entertainment by some of Nigeria’s finest entertainers, such as our world-renowned musicians Flavour and Omawunmi, and great Nigerian cuisine, deliberately curated to satisfy any Nigerian palate. And to top it up we will be giving out awards to deserving companies in various categories, namely: Impact of Local Content Development Initiative on Nigeria and Industry; Multinational Operator with the most impactful Local Content Development Initiative; Indigenous/Independent Operator with the most impactful Local Content Development Initiative; Indigenous Service Provider with the most impactful contribution to Local Content and The Early Bird (Sponsorship Support for NOGOF 2019).

Lunch During the Fair

In keeping in tune with our strong sense of patriotism and also our welcoming spirit, we have curated the fair’s lunchtime feeding such that people who prefer the traditional Nigerian dishes like Afang, Native Soup etc and those who gravitate more towards the continental dishes like salads and roast potatoes have a wide array of food options to choose from. Our aim is to ensure that on the 4th and 5th delegates and other participants alike are all well fed, so that energy levels are high throughout the day.

Tea Breaks

Each day starting from the 4th there will be a 20 - 30mins morning tea break, and these periods like all our other social and networking activities have been designed to enhance networking opportunities between delegates, speakers, presenters and other participants. These are also times when guests can visit exhibiting companies at their exhibition stands and have one on one meetings with key stakeholders and potential investors and partners in our networking lounge, whilst leisurely enjoying the NCDMB Showcase of initiatives from a carefully selected list of indigenous and multinational companies.

Networking Lounge and NCDMB Showcase Viewing Area

This year we will be incorporating a networking lounge and NCDMB Showcase viewing area at the fair, because we understand how important it is for stakeholders, delegates and all our other attendees to maximize this opportunity and get the most out of their time at the fair. And as it isn’t very regular that this large number of oil and gas stakeholders get the chance to spend time together in the same space during working hours. So we thought it would be a great idea to help foster and build stronger relationships amongst like-minded individuals by creating a space specifically designed for quite, intimate networking. And as our host NCDMB has done a lot of working selecting 9+ indegeneous and multinational companies to showcase their Nigerian Content achievements and other executed projects since the NOGIC Development Act.
